I did not recognise that Eddie was a real person but i think that it was a cool idea to write about the real Eddie and by the sounds of it it sounds a lot like the real Eddie

When reading about the real Eddie the thing that stood out for me was that The fictional Eddie and the real life Eddie were very similar and that the author Mitch Albom didn't need to change the characters personality much at all to fit his uncle Eddies personality.

I don't think that i am very good at essay writing because i just find that when i write a essay it just doesn't sound right and a lot of the words seem out of place. I find that i know what i want to say and write but when it comes time to actually write an essay it just doesn't come out right.

Starting of Five people you meet in heaven

I have started reading the book the five people you meet in heaven. And i must say that since i have been reading i have found that the structure of this book is written very weird. But so far it is an ok book.

Linking Symbol

A symbol that i think linked everything in this movie together was the 20.
It links everything because when she is asked to help Manni she has 20 minutes. Also you when she goes to the Casino she puts her money on 20 black. And another way the 20 was used is that when the director of the film directed this movie he made it so that when Lola has 20 minutes to help that also is filmed in 20 minutes of real time. I think the use of 20 was a very creative and interesting.

What the sequnce tells us about the main idea

In the first sequence it tells us about urgency as being a main idea. It is shown by the way the sequence is shown it has dull lighting, the cuts are very fast which shows and builds up tension.

Well i dont get what it means by the quote no story sits alone. And the for the Quote Ending is also the beginning i think it means for this novel that even though he has just reached a ending of his life he is about to reach the beginning of what seems to him like the beginning of a new life.

Controlling or Manipulating time

I think that it is a weird idea of being able to do that but if you were able to do it I think it would be a rather helpful thing to have because if you did something you regretted or something like that you would be able to go back and change it.
If I were able to do that I would not change anything unless I felt it was completely necessary for me do da that.

Lola's most important characteristics.

I think that one of lola's most important characteristics is determination. I think this because throughout the whole entire movie you see her and how determinated she is to help out Manni even though she is risking her life to help him.

Do our Choices have that much Impact???

Yes they do have a big impact because what ever we choose to do in any situation is going to impact our next move. For example when Lola choose to help Manni rob theshop to get the money he needed itmade her next move very hard because it ment that there was going to be nothing good that was going to happen after she did that and that skhe would not be free after she did that.

First impressions of Characters

My first impression of Lola was that she odviously didnt care about what others thought of her. I got this impression because the way she was dressed, how her hair looked.
My first impression of Manni was that he was involved with the wrong type of people and that he relyed alot on Lola.

What do you think the key ideas in the film are and why?

I thin the main ideas in the film were love and how lol will do anything for Manni no matter what it is. Also think another key idea is how much people rely on each others help. for example Manni relys on Lolas help to get him out of his sticky situation and Lola relys on her father to come up with the money that she needs to help Manni.

'Run Lola Run' Part 1

Yesterday we watched the first part of 'Run Lola Run'. My first impression of the film was that itr was rather pathetic due to the actors, the plot line and where it was set. To me it lookied like it was an old movie because it wasn't done as well as movi es 'these days'. Even though i didnt like the start of the movie i wanted to watch the rest because i was curious about what would happen in the end after seeing all the events that happened in the first half.

'Run Lola Run' Part 2

Today we watctched the second half of 'Run Lola Run'. It was a rather boring movie. Its about a girl whos boyfriend gets into a load of trouble and needs to pay somebody $100,000 or they will kill him. She decides to try and help him but finds it hard to so, because everytime she does so something goes wrong and them she somehow relives her past until it is corrected. Then in the end everything works out okay.
I dont know why Mrs Cleary would have choose this film!
